You’ve sent the invitation, locked down the venue, signed every contract, and finalized the menu. Now comes the part nobody warns you about, the day itself. A DC mitzvah day coordinator is the person who makes sure it all runs as planned, while you actually get to be there for it. If you’re looking for one, you’ve come to the right place!
While some families hire us as their full mitzvah event planners, others prefer a day-of coordinator so they can fully enjoy the celebration. A bar mitzvah is a meaningful milestone, and the last thing you want is to manage logistics instead of being present. With a professional on site, any last-minute issues are handled seamlessly—often before you even notice. Contact us today to learn more about our packages.
We work with Jewish families across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, from Georgetown, Capitol Hill, Shaw, Columbia Heights, to Rockville, Bowie, Gaithersburg, Annapolis, Ellicott City, Fairfax, Leesburg, Tysons Corner, McLean, and surrounding areas. Whether you’re hosting in an elegant hotel ballroom or a more intimate event space, we know this region, and we know what these events actually require. B’nai mitzvah events here range from quiet shabbat dinners to a full-scale reception with hundreds of guests. Our expertise covers that entire spectrum.
We have two service levels. The right one depends on how much support you need before the day and how much of the planning you’ve already handled yourself.
The bronze package includes up to 5 hours of consultation prior to the event, a 1-hour final walkthrough, and a planner on-site for up to 8 hours.
Add-ons: $195/hour for extra time, $195 + commute for additional meetings, $690 for an extra coordinator (required for events over 150 people).
Up to 40 hours of pre-event planning sessions, a final walkthrough, up to 10 hours on-site, and a second organizer included for the full day.
Other services available: extra assistants, flowers, customized centerpieces, draping, lighting, hair, and makeup. Call us today at +1 301-230-1504 to know more.
Mitzvah planning has its own rhythm, and it’s different from planning a birthday party or a corporate dinner. The candle lighting, the hora, the tradition of the Torah reading, the motzi, the parent speeches, these are the common mitzvot traditions for the day. Your vision is what we’re executing, not ours. This also isn’t just about making things look good on Instagram or other social media platforms. It’s about making the day genuinely enjoyable for everyone in the room. That takes professionalism on the back end, and if you want a stress-free experience, someone has to carry the weight of that. We can work around your planned event and execute it flawlessly. That’s how we do a day of coordination.
We arrive before you do, and by the time the doors open, everything is in place, and the schedule is on point. You walk in, relax, and focus on the people around you, because our dedicated team is handling every step of the way. We track the schedule, cue speeches, manage the room, and deal with anything unexpected. You focus on the moments. We handle the in-between. If you need someone who can help you with the execution, contact us
A full service event planning company handles things from start to finish, such as location sourcing, budgeting, design, and the entire planning process. The day of work starts closer to the event and focuses on execution. If you’ve handled your own planning and just need someone to run the day, we fit that role well. If you want full-service planning from the very beginning, we offer a full service mitzvah event planner.
We manage the operational side of your event, such as the check-in, setup oversight, schedule tracking, and problem-solving in real time. Think of it as a full-service backstage crew, focused entirely on your event.
Yes. The in-house organizer works for the space. Our organizer works for you. Those are two very different jobs.
As early as possible, because the peak season fills up fast. Once your date is confirmed, contact us right away.
An extra organizer is required for larger events. That's $690 as an add-on, and it's already included in the Silver option.
Yes. Flowers, draping, lighting, and rentals are all available as add-on services, regardless of which option you choose.
Let us know before the event. We can cover it, but extra charges may apply depending on the scope. The key is to communicate it early.
Pre-event time includes phone and email communication, schedule building, floor plan work, and supplier coordination. The Bronze includes up to 5 hours of that, while the Silver includes up to 40.
We can offer makeup and hair styling, as well as full mitzvah event planning in the DMV. Of course, as DC wedding planners, we’re experienced to handle social events and corporate events.
